Campus Accessibility Maps
We are excited to be able to share the Homewood Campus Accessibility Map. The university worked with the Institute for Human Centered Design (IHCD) to develop a Campus Access map for the Homewood campus and immediate surrounding areas.
The map contains important accessibility features including the locations of accessible building entrances, accessible routes, and the grade (slope) of exterior pathways. This is intended to serve as a resource for disabled students, faculty, staff, and visitors on the Homewood campus.
Homewood Campus Wayfinding App – Johns Hopkins Facilities & Real Estate
This interactive map is designed to help you navigate between buildings across the Homewood campus using turn-by-turn directions tailored to your preferred travel mode. Whether you’re a student, staff member, faculty member, or visitor, this app ensures you can easily get where you need to go.

Hopkins Accessibility Working Group (HAWG)
The Hopkins Accessibility Working Group is charged to bring together key campus offices/partners to maximize accessibility of the built environment to increase inclusion of disabled Hopkins community members and visitors. The group will provide input and guidance to all new construction and renovation projects as well as priority setting for ongoing systemic physical accessibility maintenance and improvements. Goals will include ensuring Hopkins is making the most of opportunities to increase accessibility, key partners become well-versed in best practices for the inclusion of disabled people, needs are addressed/barriers removed in a timely way, and outcomes tracked.
To reach out to the group to report a concern or advocate for increased accessibility, email [email protected]
